Parking
Parking space at Cambridge University Hospitals is limited and the nearby roads can get congested.
We encourage you to use public transport, taxis or walk/cycle, if possible.
A ‘pay on foot’ car park system operates at Cambridge University Hospitals, with patients and visitors paying to park in specially designated car parks.
All car parks at Cambridge University Hospitals have barriers at the entrances and exits. Ticket machines are located in each car park for paying and validating the car park ticket before exit. The system is very easy to use, just like many shopper’s car parks in towns and cities around the country.
If you choose to come by car, please remember to bring some change for the car park ticket machines.
Park and Ride
If your visit is going to last more than three hours, the Park & Ride bus fare can work out significantly cheaper than the car parking charges at the hospital.

Train
Trains stop at Cambridge Railway Station, which is about two miles from Addenbrooke’s. There are frequent buses (every 10 minutes) from the station (Citi 1 and Citi 7) to Addenbrooke’s and also a convenient taxi service.
The Rail station has parking for cycles, and there is a good cycle route between the station and the hospital, which mainly uses cycle lanes.
